Ladder accident claims

Vidal Engineering has investigated hundreds of ladder accidents over the past 15 years. Nearly all types of ladders manufactured or in use today must comply with industry practices and standards.
Keith Vidal is the American Society of Safety Engineers primary representative on the American National Standard Institute's (ANSI) Accredited Standard Committee (ASC) A14 on ladders. His involvement with ladder standards and his experience in investigating ladder accidents makes him particularly qualified to investigate and analyze ladder fall accidents.
Most ladder fall accidents occur because of improper setup and use, however there are ladders that have been determined to be unreasonably dangerous, even though they complied with ANSI standards. To best facilitate a ladder accident it is always helpful to take the ladder in question (and sometimes an exemplar) to the site of the accident with the person who fell off of it. If the site has not been altered and the person who fell can set the ladder up as it was the date of the fall, many questions can be answered and a determination may be possible as to how and why the accident occurred.
Let Vidal Engineering help in your ladder investigation for expert reconstruction and analysis of the accident.
